Zvārte Little House Will Be Open Till the End of October

Visitor centre by the Zvārtes rock, or the Zvārte little house will be open till the end of October. Here during the tourism season one can buy entrance tickets, get to know more about surrounding nature, history, ancient legends, witches and bats, as well as tourist attractions. Feel free to ask! The hostesses of the Zvārte house will introduce you with the large collection of herbal plants and unusual exhibits. There is enough space to get warm after a hike by a real wood-burning stove in this small log house. It is possible to buy herbal teas and sweets here, have a cup of hot coffee, find a useful, free brochure and to plan a hike along the Amata river for the next season.

In winter Zvārte little house will be open only during events. The new season of 2011 will start in April, together with the activities of watertourists in the Amata.
