New Working hours and souvenirs at the Visitor Centres of Gauja National Park
From May 1st starts summer season in tourist attractions and Visitor Centres of the Gauja National Park. Working hours are extended to adapt to the flow of the visitors.
Visitor Centre by the Gutmans cave
Visitor Centre will be open 7 days a week from 9.00am to 7.00pm and will have extended working hours until 8.00pm.

There is a possibility to pay for the entrance with electronic pay cards.
New souvenirs and gift items in the summer season of 2011!
You will find a range of new souvenirs at the Visitor Centres of the Gauja National Park. A brand new souvenir is offered in cooperation with “Svētavots” – living spring water of the highest quality in bottles with a capacity of 0.5 l and 2 l with a symbolic picture of the Gutmans cave.
New product is “Šokopasts” – a specially packaged “Laima” chocolate bar with an old picture of the Gutmans cave. On the other side of the chocolate you can write a message or a nice greeting and post!
New local souvenirs are made by artist Zigrīda Tauriņa with the symbols of Sigulda and Gutmans cave.
Visitor Centre in Līgatne Nature Trails
Visitor Centre will be open from 9.00am to 7.00pm and will have extended working hours from 9.00am until 8.00pm.
Izmantojot dabas taku maksas autoceļu, iebraukt var līdz plkst. 17.00. Pēc plkst. 19.00 autoceļš tiek slēgts. Nature trails can be entered through toll motor road until 5.00pm. After 7.00 pm the motorcar road is closed.
For visitors’ attention – the area of the nature trails must be left until 9.00 pm.

New information boards were set up in nature trails with cooperation of “Capital”. You are welcome to visit photo exhibition of animal care keeper Velga Vītola at the forest school “Pauguri”. Seasonal novelty – a binocular is mounted in the tower of the Līgatne Nature Trails.
Visitor Centre by the Zvārtes rock
Visitor Centre will be open from 9.00am to 7.00pm and will have extended working hours until 8.00pm.
For the second year visitors can buy an original sweet souvenir, wrapped in paper with the drawings of bats – the symbolic animals of the national park. Souvenirs have been made in cooperation with Ltd “Saldus pārtikas kombināts”.
At the Visitor Centres you will find also biologically made honey selected in Gauja National Park from trees, shrubs and plants that are growing here and made by biological agriculture enterprise “Kalna Smīdes”.
Memories and souvenirs- T-shirts, writing materials, postcards and other souvenirs with the symbols of the Gauja National Park will remind you about the beauty of the nature of the Gauja National Park.
